Background

This NZ-based vendor is a regional leader in software and services for Business Process Management, operating since 1995. The company has:

• A strong regional presence with 4 offices in SE Asia
• Over 3000 clients, including many tier 1 organisations
• A fine strong reputation for technical and service excellence
• An opportunity to move into a new market with Software as a Service.

In a previous project we re-positioned the company as a thought leader, and used this positioning to create a presentation targeted to credit managers. The company now sought a flash presentation to directly promote its offering to a wider market, which could be used on the website and to support a lead generation campaign.

Challenge

To design and write flash presentation content and script; to guide the flash specialist in its creation; to manage multiple edits; to complete the project in 2 weeks.

Solution

We:

• Wrote a guide to flash presentation content, what should be included, where and how
• Analysed the offering and extracted the key benefits for most markets
• Sourced a series of images, consistent with each other and with product positioning
• Scripted the presentation around user problems, Gartner advice and our client’s solution
• Created a compelling PowerPoint presentation that combined all elements
• Wrote detailed instructions to enable conversion to flash by the client’s in house staff.
• Managed multiple edits, iterations and technical issues.

Results

The flash presentation was:

• competed on time and to budget
• concise, compelling, comprehensive, clear and 3 minutes long.
